Hi! My name is Misha (he/him). I’m a queer Russian artist and writer [art & writing tag: #misha’s creative stuff]. Born in February 10, 2004. I’m also an atheist and likely neurodivergent.
My current interest is The Owl House. Luz, Belos and Hunter are my most favorite characters (although this show just generally has a lot of great characters), and my favorite episodes are ‘Hollow Mind’ (S2EP16) and ‘Thanks to Them’ (S3EP1). Honorable mention to ‘Witches Before Wizards’ (S1EP2) for being the episode that made me sure I wanted to keep watching the show when I just started getting into it.
I also have an AU [tag: #retired leaders au]! It’s focused on Belos, Steven (the AU version of Steve), Hunter and Kiki, aka the Wolf Fam, and they’re the characters with the most significant changes. More info about the AU can be found under the #rlau info tag. It’s a good uncle AU btw.
If you’d like to ask anything, whether it’s about me or my content, or if you just want to say something to me, feel free to send an ask!
I have a positivity tag: “#positivity”, and I’ll link it here if you wanna scroll through it.
I’m not really into n$fw content, but some (mostly mild) stuff might show up, mainly in text form or character dialogue. I tag non graphic/less graphic stuff with “#cw: suggestive”, and more graphic stuff with “#nsft stuff”, though I’m not 100% sure on where the line is for me.
(I also try to tag triggers, generally with “#cw: [thing]”, like “cw: blood”, and some are censored like “cw: sui mention” and “cw: sa mention”. If there’s anything you’d like me to tag, send me an ask)
A few more things, in no particular order:
Tfw you fixate on something completely unrelated instead of working on the thing you’re supposed to be working on, oops.

Hunter's main special interest is mechanical engineering and tech, and he shares that interest with Belos, from whom he got a lot of his knowledge and skill. He has been fascinated by the subject from a young age, and continues to pursue his interest in it. They're discussing some schematics here.
There's also been a couple design updates for both of them, like Hunter's shirt color and a slight change to his overalls, Belos's scar shape and droopy left eyelid, and his dress being a lighter blue. It'll probably be tweaked again later.
And I'm super late for my own prompts, yay.
Do not repost/reupload my work, but reblogs are appreciated.

Don’t forget y’all that there’s a much better way for us to let Tumblr know what we think about specific changes, rather than @ ing staff or wip, and it’s sending in a support ticket and choosing feedback!
Tumblr reverted some of the asinine app decisions they made after a concerted feedback effort! So make sure to use this form! It’s what it’s for, but it’s not well advertised!

If the background actors don't come in for work because they exist virtually then the background costume and background hair and make up and their catering and transport and all the other departments that look after them get cut too. These things have knock on effects...
I’m 33 and American. This myth is so widespread here I didn’t know the truth until I was TWENTY-NINE. I was literally taught something similar IN COLLEGE—that the Puritans were so reactionary in America as a result of what happened to them in England. And this was in a class about the history of witchcraft accusations and the Salem witch trials. Like, we were taught that they were horrible HERE, but the narrative was still that they faced injustice in England.
This wasn’t a stupid teacher, either. She had her first doctorate and was pursuing a second. Basically everything else I learned in that class checks out. The myth just runs THAT DEEP.

Yep. :/
This thread got me watching this BBC documentary on Oliver Cromwell and I highly recommend it anyone else who also had no idea.
Hi
American here
WTF!
I mean it definitely makes sense and I’m not surprised I’m just shocked at myself for never having questioned that line of teaching before-
